Had a great time stopping here, very helpful and generous host. It's a simple but well cared for campsite with all the important things. Few tips: take the little pedestrian ferry; they take bicycles, it's 6 lei for return with a bike. Stock up on mosquito repellent before you go across the river!

Excellent location for camping in Danube Delta. It's quiet, even if it's close to the city. If you use the small boat transfer (part of the public transport in Tulcea) you get to the city in 10-15 minutes. It's every 30 minutes in the daytime and every hour up to 23.20.
The host is friendly and will provide all the information. Shower and toilets are clean and there is hot water (too hot sometimes, check before).
There is a kitchen that can cook meals if you agree before in a timely manner. Also there is a BBQ and a social area.

Astăzi am plecat din camping și abia așteptăm să ne reîntoarcem aici.
Un loc superb pentru relaxare . Proprietar foarte foarte amabil, face tot ce îi stă în putință ca să te simți bine. Am rămas plăcut surprinsă când a și gătit pentru noi, un meniu tradițional care merită 5 stele din plin. Domnul proprietar având în camping și un punct gastronomic. Camping foarte foarte curat cu tot ce-ți trebuie si apă caldă la discreție.
Recomand cu toată încrederea celor care vor relaxare și o vacanta frumoasa.
Cine dorește locuri de pescuit pe alegere lângă camping, chiar cu umbră.

Gazde ospitaliere și cu bun simț, implicate, interesate de confortul turiștilor cazați în campingul pe care îl administrează, totul foarte curat și îngrijit, preparate din pește extrem de gustoase, pregătite tradițional, la prețuri mai mult decât accesibile. E o plăcere să fi cazat aici! Bravo! Așa da!

Fabulous location and facilities. We were finishing Eurovelo 6 and we are so happy we chose to stay at this campsite. Alex is very kind and attentive, facilities are super clean, there is hot water and things provided to wash clothes. WiFi and an area to sit protected from mosquitos at night. Alex put us in touch with a boat tour-all tours are amalgamated in the morning but we had a fantastic time and the 10 hour tour exceeded expectations. Take the ferry which lands just next to the camp if you have a loaded bike as you can easily get straight on. Thanks for a great stay!

Danubius Camping was our home for our last night in Danube Delta-we set our tent on the fresh, green grass, had a fully equipped kitchen available to prepare our dinner and took a warm shower after a long cycling day.
The host was very welcoming, kind and did his best to provide us with anything we needed during our stay.
We enjoyed the time spent in nature, but also having the comfort of a home- clean bathrooms (for each gender) and kitchen, drinkable water, electricity source, selective collecting bins for recycling debris and many other small things that were nice to have (clothes hanger to let them dry, adjustable tent lamps).
Also, the camping provides parcels for camping vans, night illumination system and camera surveillance system. It is only a few minutes away from the ships that take you to the other shore, in Tulcea. It is a great starting point for Delta trips as well, either by boat or by bike. Last, but not least, the camping is also the home of 5 super fluffy and friendly kittens. All in all, we highly recommend the place: it is a family business that involves a lot of work and dedication to keep going. We will definitely stay there again.
